After the Weapons of Mass Seduction shoot, I realized that I needed to change my look. I’d had one of two casting directors tell me I wasn’t ethnic enough for my dark hair, and I noticed I got more work when my weight was down. As actors, we need to do our best to use what we’re given, but at the same time, we shouldn’t settle. For the first time, I went blond. It’s different, but overall it’s opening doors.
